The producers of hit LFC comedy play “One Night In Istanbul” are calling out to all Liverpool fans to help them in their hunt for five replica European cups. The type of cups needed are the full size replica cups which were produced in 2005 after Liverpool’s historic fifth European cup victory in Istanbul. These were on sale in Liverpool and quickly sold out. The cups are needed for the finale of the play and will be held aloft by both current and legendary LFC players and are an integral part of the play.
Bang On Top Productions Director Emile Coleman said:
“This is an amazing opportunity for a real Liverpool football club fan to prove their support and help out the biggest football play of all time. It’s a chance for their cup to be held by the people who have won and held the original European cup”
The cups will need to be loaned for a four week period and will be returned at the end of both Liverpool and Dublin runs. Anybody who donates a cup for the run will be given a pair of tickets to the show and a chance to meet the cast and have a tour of the set.
