Help Anthony Nolan Become The Football League’s Official Charity Partner

Posted by

Anthony Nolan, the charity with a special bond to Liverpool FC, has been shortlisted to become the Football League’s Official Charity Partner for the 2012/13 season. Please give them a minute of your time to vote for them to win.

Their goal is to provide a lifesaving transplant for every person who needs one. This partnership is worth £400,000 and would help add 4,000 new donors to the register. Any one of these individuals could be a match for a person with blood cancer.

Please take the time to vote for the charity by visiting the following link:

The Anthony Nolan charity has a very special affinity to Liverpool FC. In March, Elliot Wild, the boy who captured our hearts after making an appeal for a stem cell match on LFC TV, lost his battle with leukaemia. Then last weekend our goalkeeper Brad Jones lost his son Luca to the disease. Both Elliot and Luca were offered tremendous support by Anthony Nolan.

To help further, joining the Anthony Nolan register is easy, just complete an online application:

If you’re eligible you just have to give them a saliva sample and they’ll send you a registration card to let you know you are on the register.
