A number of players and staff visited Alder Hey Children’s hospital ahead of the United game, speaking to and handing out gifts to the sick children.
The club does this every year, and manager Brendan Rodgers highlighted how much everybody enjoys the occasion.
“Our Christmas visits to Alder Hey are always very special and memorable. It’s a privilege for the team to have the opportunity to meet with the children and their families to show their support,” he said.
