Liverpool have today announced a 30-man squad for our pre-season tour of the Far East. The headline news is that, as expected, Raheem Sterling is included despite the rumoured interest of Manchester City (via Daily Mirror).

Five new signings – Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner and Danny Ings – are all included. Howver, Roberto Firmino misses the trip following his participation in the Copa America this summer.

Interestingly, Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Jose Enrique have all been left out – indicating that possible transfers are imminent for the unwanted trio.

Liverpool fans could also get their first glimpse of Divock Origi – who spent last season on loan at Lille – but fellow striker Daniel Sturridge misses the trip through injury.

Several exciting academy talents will also make the trip, including winger Sheyi Ojo, who impressed last season during a loan spell with Championship side Wigan Athletic.

Jerome Sinclair, who we linked with a move away from Liverpool yesterday, does not make the cut.
