While last night’s loss to Villarreal in the Europa League was tough to take, it’s worth remembering if you’re a Liverpool fan this morning that we’ve actually achieved the biggest victory in the history of the club this week.
The 96 fans who died at Hillsborough have been completely exonerated of blame, as have the rest of the supporters present, and the authorities have been deemed to have ‘unlawfully killed’ them, an inquest found – 27 years after the tragedy.
Kelvin Mackenzie, editor of the S*n at the time, led the smear campaign on the front-page of his newspaper, and has been making jokes about it ever since.
Cue this brilliant response from LBC presenter James O’Brien, who absolutely nailed him on his radio programme yesterday.
Mackenzie is vile, and it’s rarely been better explained than this.
Have a watch.
