Three Man Utd players set to miss Liverpool clash with injuries

Posted by

Man Utd will be without three of their first team stars when they come to Anfield in a week and a half.

The game is scheduled for Monday 17th October, thus making it the first game back after the international break. Normally we would prefer to play our games at the weekend, but for a game of this magnitude, both sides will surely be delighted with the extra recovery time and time of the training pitch post-break.

We already know that Adam Lallana is a major doubt for us, but according to the Express, United will be without three of their stars.

The three are Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Phil Jones, and Luke Shaw.

They report that Mkhitaryan is out with a thigh muscle strain, Jones has a lateral collateral ligament injury to his knee, and Shaw is suffering from a severe lack of match fitness after missing most of last season with a broken leg.
