City have submitted a £55m plus £5m in add-ons bid for the Chilean, but the Gunners have instead responded by lodging a mega £90m bid for Monaco’s young Frenchman – who’s been the subject of three bids from Liverpool…

Now, it seems like a straight shootout between Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger for the 21-year-old, who’s already showed a preference for an Anfield switch (like most players in Europe this summer!).
Liverpool’s biggest bid to date is £75m, which has neither been accepted nor rejected by the Ligue 1 champions, so it remains to be seen whether we’ll up our bid to match Arsenal’s.
