We honestly hate the amount of rubbish that gets said about Jordan Henderson.
The analysis is incredibly lazy and based primarily on his debut Liverpool season, when he was still 21-years-old.
Since he was named England captain for the upcoming friendlies, it’s gone overboard, too.
Well, here’s a reminder that Henderson is a far, far better holding midfielder than Eric Dier and Jack Wilshere – two of the other options who should apparently be starting ahead of him – based on stats from this season (in which Hendo’s been injured and ‘our of form’).
Thanks to Reddit user -_-_-_-otalp-_-_-_- for the graph…
Share this. The amount of shite that gets spouted on Henderson is a joke. Plays longer passes, more forward passes, creates more chances, plays more key passes – all while winning more headers and tackles – than Dier and Wilshere. Stop believing what 15-years-olds tweet abou him. pic.twitter.com/G25kVfupwO

What else needs to be said…?
Henderson is much better defensively, much better creatively, more involved in the game – and what’s more – he’s a leader.
Liverpool fans should vehemently stick up for our captain when other supporters criticise him, instead of jumping on the bandwagon.
Yes, he’s no Steven Gerrard, but how many other players have been in the past 20 years?
Quite literally a handful, none of whom ever played for Liverpool either, by the way.
