Liverpool won’t be signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, nor Domagoj Vida from Besiktas this summer, despite recent reports.

Dave Maddock of the Mirror confirmed as much on Twitter today.
Liverpool have ZERO interest in Croatia centre half Domagoj Vida, despite widespread reports in Turkey claiming bid has been lodged. Same applies to Villa's Jack Grealish. Priority in window remains versatile attacking midfielder #LFC

Vida has enjoyed a terrific World Cup, but so has the man he’s started alongside, Dejan Lovren, who’s already a Red!
Turkish Football claimed a £30.9m bid would be required to secure Vida, who is 29-years-old.
Grealish has potential, but he’s not going to immediately improve our first-team.
So for now, Liverpool’s target remains a versatile playmaker who can perform in either a box-to-box role or as part of the front-three, says Maddock.
Since Coutinho left, our midfield has at times lacked creativity, although the brilliance of the front-three in the second half of last season alleviated that.
A deal for Nabil Fekir was all but done, but Liverpool puled out of the transfer at the last minute, and there’s been no concrete word as to who the alternative might be.
We’re hoping the club goes all in for Paulo Dybala if Cristiano Ronaldo joins Juventus, but time will tell!
