2017/18 is over – but it still irks us that Liverpool couldn’t get a penalty for love nor money last term…
Against Manchester United in America last night, the Reds won 4-1, which included a wonder-goal from Xherdan Shaqiri, but we also bagged two spot-kicks.

Stupidly, that’s more than we got an Anfield during the entire of last season!
#LFC have had more penalties at Ann Arbor stadium in a pre-season friendly than in the entire Premier League season at Anfield in 2017/2018.

Considering our offensive style of football, it’s statistically stupid that we received so little penalties last term.
Mo Salah by himself earned about 15 which were not given, but we qualified for the Champions League regardless, which suggests we’ll do much more damage if the officials are a little fairer.
Here’s hoping, anyway.
