Don’t worry, Reds – Jurgen Klopp and his squad haven’t lost the plot!
EOTK friend and journalist Dave Maddock thought they might have yesterday evening, during Liverpool’s training session at the San Paolo stadium, though!
As he tweeted, he saw a strange clapping and chanting routine, led by Jurgen Klopp, which included a Virgil van Dijk dance.
Well, that was bizarre. Led by Klopp entire #LFC squad stand at the side of the Stadio San Paolo pitch and clap together while chanting what sounded like a German drinking song. Virgil van Dijk even did a charming little jig. Well, it is Oktoberfest… #TeamSpirit

However, BT Sport captured the scene and reminded followers that it was in celebration of two Liverpool birthdays.
Alisson turned 26 and Roberto Firmino 27 yesterday and Klopp used a German method of recognising it. Much better than a painful rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’!

Both Alisson and Firmino will start tonight against Napoli, knowing a win will see us on top of the group with six points from two games.
That’ll put us in a tremendous position, as we’ll then have two games against Red Star Belgrade, supposedly the weakest side of the four.
Theoretically, we could wrap up qualification nice and early, but tonight is huge.
