Bobby Duncan left fans gushing over his potential again on Tuesday as he scored a stoppage-time goal to help the U18s to a 3-2 win over Portsmouth.

The Liverpool striker took his tally for the season to an incredible 19 across all competitions to help Barry Lewtas’ side reach the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

In doing so, the young Reds also extended their winning streak to four games in what was their final match of 2018.

Duncan opened the scored in the 15th minute with a clinical finish, before assisting Abdi Sharif for Liverpool’s second just past the half hour mark.

Portsmouth managed to draw level after the break thanks to goals from Bradley Lethbridge and Joe Hancott, only for Duncan to snatch the win in the 92nd minute from a well-worked corner with Paul Glatzel.

It capped off a superb individual month for Duncan, who had already scored four in Liverpool’s 6-5 win over Middlesbrough as well as one of his side’s five unanswered goals against Napoli.

Reds took to social media to react to his latest scoring feat…
