Divock Origi is evidently a man on a mission to reignite his career following his dramatic stoppage-time winner in the Merseyside derby.
The Liverpool striker printed his name in Anfield folklore earlier this month when he pounced on a Jordan Pickford mistake to snatch a late victory over Everton.
Origi had managed just 11 first team minutes this season prior to his introduction as a second half substitute, with the Belgian having been strongly linked with a January move.
“I just believed in myself. It wasn’t easy,” he said after the game.
“I just try to enjoy the game, whenever I come in I try to help the team, and I’m happy I could do it in this way today.”
Whilst his future on Merseyside remains uncertain, there appears to have been a renewal to his motivation to make a name for himself.
The forward has taken to Instagram to encapsulate his comeback trail with an inspiring video…

Jurgen Klopp was quick to express his faith in the 23-year-old as he handed him a surprise start in the following game against Burnley.
