Liverpool beat Genk 2-0 in the UEFA Youth League today, with goals from Layton Stewart and Curtis Jones doing the business.
Our second goal was beautifully assisted by Harvey Elliott, who cut in from the right and played a deft ball over the defensive line for Jones to put away.
It showed great vision but also very nice technique, as well.
Elliott was just back from a ban, so should be available for our EFL Cup fixture with Arsenal next week.
How about that assist?! 🎯
