Not over yet

I am sick and tired of T.V. commentators and pundits that have already handed the title over to Manure. There is not only a good mathematical possibility but there is a practical one that this might not happen. As a Liverpool supporter I still believe that we have a good shot at the title.

Man City, Arsenal & Hull still await Manure and I am sure they will get a good fight from all three. Man City have been in great form lately and they would love to beat their arch-enemy and deny them the crown. Arsenal too will give them a good fight with Arshavin playing after he was cup-tied for the Champions League. Then on the last day of the season the Hull Tigers who are fighting for survival will give it 110% to grab something.

As for Liverpool, all we have to do is keep winning and not miss too many chances. Unfortunately we missed quite a few chances against Newcastle this weekend. The result ended 3-0 but should have 6 or 8 considering the amount of space the Toons allowed.

Y.N.W.A.

Never stop believing.

  1. Reality and wishful thinking are very different Antoine. You could be right of course, anything is possible in football but let’s face facts. Liverpool should never have been in a position where it’s desperate for other clubs to help them get a championship for the first time in 20 years. Ideally, tiles are won by a club not lost by a rival but whatever ends up happening, it has been a wonderful season.

  2. We may be longshots, but not out of the running. Honestly, when has a runner-up been beaten only by the title holder? Never say die. YNWA

  3. Titles are won by getting as many points as possible Frank.

If we get 9 more points and end up winning the league then we will have won it not because United lost it but because we will have had the better season!

    End Of!

  4. So your the one that keeps using the word Manure on the Football 356 mailbox !!! JK btw !!! Every game now is a real nail biter. One hoping United or Manure as you call em, slip up and Pool keep up the winning streak. My heart aches to seeing Pool winning the PL this year. Always enjoy your Face book page. Keep up the good work.. Cheers…
