Welcome to the 18 titles club Man United, what took you so long?

Well today saw Manchester United hold out for a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford to secure the Premier League title against an improved Arsenal side. We’ve been heading the league title table since I was a kid, I’ve never know anyone to have as many, but over my 17 years of life United have slowly but surely caught up and now we’re all level- 18-18.

I hope every single one of our players was forced to watch them celebrate lifting that trophy today, I really do. I hope they know exactly what every supporter wants for next season. It’s been far too long since the league title has been to L4 and it’s time to bring it back.

Fast forward to the start of next season, we need to be straight out of the traps, the new and improved Liverpool team demolishing team after team until the league title is ours this time next year, that’s the only acceptable end to what is going to be a roller coaster of a season. How about the European Cup for good measure, maybe an FA Cup? Alex Ferguson went to Manchester United to knock us off our perch, one more league title and two more European Cup’s and it’s mission accomplished, let’s not give him that, let’s make sure he retires knowing he never did what he set out to do.

We are Liverpool FC, we are the best team that has ever set foot on a football pitch.
