Liverpool in the “Cone of Death”

Posted by

Living in South Florida I follow the hurricane updates frequently. This morning when I looked at the update I saw most of the UK in the “Cone of Death”, I just had to write about it.

Don’t worry no one is going to die, but down here we use the “Cone of Death” terminology to get back at the news media who tries to scare us when a hurricane is approaching.

What the shaded area inside the cone means is that there is a possibility that the storm will effect that particular area.  Bill is starting to weaken so by the time it crosses over the cold North Atlantic waters it will become nothing but an ExtraTropical Depression. What you should expect is rain and wind with gusts up to around 30 MPH, nothing big.

No games on Wednesday so it should not effect football at all except for Rafa who will probably try to find some Kwality in Bill.

Walk on.
