Don’t Blame the Players and Rafa AGAIN.

Posted by

Wolves 0-0 Liverpool. We held a goalless draw against Wolves. Frustrated!!!!! I saw many of the Liverpool fans in facebook was blaming Rafa and the players. But, now it’s not the time to blame them. In this difficult period, we have to show our RESPECT to the team. Do you think the players and the manager are happy after the DAMN RESULT? What if you blame Rafa or the players, you are still with Liverpool right? You don’t support Man Utd or Chelsea because of Liverpool is SUCKS right?

Wolves had prepared to give Liverpool something special. I saw Wolves played like Reading. Their counter attack were pretty good. Reina saved us, he’s the man of the match for me. The good news for us after this match is we can see the confidence of Liverpool. The players showed their character again. Eventhough the game was very tough but we never give up so we fight on. The other good news is  our defence had improve much. Kyrgiakos is awesome!!! He’s almost perfect in the air. Skrtel defence well with confidence. Carra didn’t fear of the attacks of Wolves’ left wing (who is his name?) No one can beat Insua on the left. Reina seems played like a GOD. Another clean sheet for us!!!

The team with confidence can’t get what they want, but they get the complains from the fans?! C’mon, no matter what, we are still Liverpool, we are still like a FAMILY. If one of your family members had made a mistake, will you leave him/her? Will you blame him/her? Or will you give him/her your another support? We always shout the words “YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE”, but the anti-Rafa want Rafa to walk alone?!! The world is truly weird, when Rafa brought us the 5th Champions League trophy, all of the Liverpool fans love him so much. Now, the unlucky Rafa is in a very difficult time because of he don’t have the money to buy players and the injuries of his key players. So, the anti-Rafa appeared, they want Rafa to go, NOT FAIR!!!!! I am not the 100% pro-Rafa but I am a true Liverpool fan, so I have to support the peoples who are working for Liverpool.

Liverpool needs our supports now, it must be the FULL SUPPORT too. Rafa needs us, we must support him just like how did the Valencia fans supported Rafa. Rafa and the players are not to blame, we are REDS, we should support them!!! We are FAMILY!!! Liverpool Forever, YNWA… RESPECT!!!

p/s:  Sorry . I wrote my article as simple as I can, so if there’s some mistakes in my blog, please forgive me or let me know where is the mistakes. thank you YNWA.

  1. Spot on, after the Tottenham game everyone seemed to be on the pro-Rafa side but as soon as a result goes the other way (which has been very frequent as of late) everyone seems to want him out. Who else could we get in to clean up the mess? The only true answer to that is new owners, NOT a new manager as we have all seen what Rafa is capable of.

  2. Its refreshing to have a positve spin off a dificult time for us. Quite frankly, all the rafa-out brigade quite possibly haven’t considered the bleak alternatives. Rather the devil you know.

  3. We are fans and we get frustrated but we stay together and support rafa thats good..but its matches like these that let us down last time and may be its going to be something like that even now…if we keep doin this..(no matter what skrtel says!!!)..I am not saying RAFA OUT YOU GO or anything..but where was AQUILANI..?? You buy a player for 20m and make him watch matches..while our skipper who was far from any decent practice played it full..heart aches to see such performances from a team like Liverpool..and along with it the mind also baffles me…WHATS HAPPENING RAFA??? Sorry buddies but for the performance today every PRO-LIVERPOOL Fc did really miss AQUA-MAN..

  4. This is the problem. Loyalty does not equate to a lack of objectivity. Liverpool, Rafa, the players, as a whole, were poor. New owners will assuredly be a positive, but they are ultimately not responsible for the performances on the pitch or the touchline. And on the whole, those displays, regardless of result, have been severely disappointing.

  5. So if teams play like Reading we might as well lost or draw every games?
what’s wrong with being Liverpool supporter but not Rafa. I never fancy him to get contact extended last year even though he brought us 2nd place but I think that was because Chelsea have find the right manager yet. Now he does get his contact that he wanted thanks to the stupid yanks who should have known the game of football better.
    NOW WE LIVE WITH IT.

  6. I dont agree with u. Things are wrong with the way we are playing now. Its for a reason. How would u explain a performance which is like a car with a bad carburettor? Win against Manc will kick start the season.. didnt..win aginst spurs with terrific fan support should charge the team… didnt. Y? There is something wrong and someone has to take the blame, the players the managers the backup squad… esp the fitness trainers. A good kick up the back side is worth a lot more than u think it is.

  7. The point Kelvin is that a team with the heritage, the culture and the aspirations of LFC should be able to change the way the game is going and take counter measures. It is obvious that a team that has less quality and is technically inferior to you has only one real weapon to use against you, and that’s out-running you!!! We do not seem to have the capability of changing our game plan and we persist with our repetitive schemes for the full lenght of the game. We rarely put 5 consecutives passes together which says a lot!
This has nothing to do with H&G, they come in the wider picture, this is the team going out on the field and the manager preparing the game and conducting the game tactically!

  8. No matter what, I am still with Liverpool. Now is not the time to blame. The team have to look foward and try harder now, and tha fans have to give their full support to the team. Easy, in Rafa I still trust. He will has his own reason in every dicision (maybe). But what can we do now? the match is over, no one to blame, look forward. YNWA.

  9. i agree that we need to stay behind the team and the boss and as loyal redmen we will do that but have to admit that last night was painful to watch.why pay 20mill for a player and then sit him on the beach is there somthing more to this story than we are being told at the minute.

  10. There can be no liverpool supporter on the planet that thinks we played well last night. Our team is totally out of ideas. We are flat. How is that going to change by continually saying, In Rafa we trust or keep behind the lads. It isnt. We are poor and the team selection is poor, so few creative players on the pitch and our £20 million injury boy is on the bench – AGAIN!!
Gerrard should not have been played last night he isnt even close to being fit, we will pay for that with a worse injury in the near future.

how many decent performances this year? very very few.

  11. Just can’t believe how naïve you sound. You don’t seem to want to put question marks to anything that’s wrong about the club at the moment. We have a manager that’s unable to motivate his players and who appears somewhat paralysed to taking action from the sidelines.

I don’t know about you, but I always try to improve. I see Rafa’s management going the wrong direction. His stubbornness and quirks have reached a maximum for me. We’re heading down the wrong path, and Rafa seems unwilling (unable) to change the team.

  12. still the same. Liverpool needs our supports. please be positive. Rafa will know what to do. The players were trying very hard last night, they don’t get what they want but at least they tried very hard. Gerrard is not fit enough but he didn’t slow down his steps, this is what we called CHARACTER. our defenders didn’t give up, I can’t see the team is playing WITHOUT CONFIDENCE.

  13. Of course it’s not the same. Of course Liverpool needs our support, but that doesn’t give us the right to just sit back and accept everything that happens. Germany tried that in the thirties…didn’t work out in the long run.

    Reality check

  14. ALL you people say “WE NEED TO LOOK FORWARDs..”….but if we really had to contest we NEEDED TO LOOK FOR FORWARDS..that won’t happen..so basically we can hope for two things realistically..
    1. Win Europa this year..and try to play well for as much we can..(because with football..We must eye top 7)..its heart-breaking but true..
    2. Hope for a miracle(to be in top 4)..and keep hoping (but with all that has happened that i guess is not being rational)…but there can be another miracle at the end of the season..and Guess WHAT ..H&G spends!!!and pretty heavily (about 30m say..more than that would be too much ..even for a miracle)..

  15. Elaborating on that second point i made..May be seeing our better accts books we find an Investor like Man City have..and then win the league next year..
But i know all you people will be saying “IN YOUR DREAMS..”..To which i have to say..may be you are right..but it seems without money clubs win big things in DREAMZ only..(and rarely in terms of silverware..) Shame on you H&G..

  16. I’m With You Kelvin….u right in rafa benitez we trust! lalalalalalala rafa benitez laallalalalalalalal YOOOOOOOOU’LL NEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER WAAAAAAAAAALK ALOOOOOOOONE! ;)

  17. Kelvin, I may have misunderstood your intention, as both of us are non-English native speakers. But I’m with those who say being critical and being supportive aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive.

Say you have a son and he made a mistake. If you tell him it’s his fault, does it mean you stop loving him? If he keeps making the same mistake, does it mean you will eventually stop loving him? Yeah, I don’t think so, either.

It’s very clear that something is wrong. Some people think a manager change will solve it, some don’t. To each his own, I won’t comment either way.

We love Liverpool and we care about this club. That’s why we criticize their performances — players, manager, and owners alike. Some do more harshly than others. To me, that doesn’t mean they love LFC less.

Let us show respect to fellow supporters’ opinions, even if we agree to disagree. YNWA.

    1. @Dodol
Sorry about the poor english. You have your point, and I am agree with you that with “Say you have a son and he made a mistake. If you tell him it’s his fault, does it mean you stop loving him? If he keeps making the same mistake, does it mean you will eventually stop loving him?” Rafa made mistakes, we still have to support him but we have to let him know what mistakes he had made. How can I miss this?! Ahh, I am sucks. Anyway, Thank you so much mate. YNWA. Good point!!!

  18. Right now our football is extremely unattractive, we lack imagination and aren’t even making it hard for other teams.

Something is deathly wrong with the mentality of our team, I whole heartily think the team would secretly be ecstatic if Rafa was to go to Juve. To me it just looks like the team don’t want to play for Rafa, and if that is the case it is extremely hard to change, and it is more or less a subconscious element.

All season we have seen him apply extreme defensive tactics against weak opponents and yet still we are meant to scream in Rafa we trust and blindly think that everything is going to be alright???

Sorry but not this Red fan. Every morning I wake up hoping to read/hear news of Rafa’s departure, I would LOVE an attack minded (also strategic of course) manager to come in.
