KOP Idol Jimmy Case

Posted by

If you read my bio on here, you see that my undergraduate degree is in history. So it’s probably in due time that I talk about our legends. Yes I could write a book about the legends, but then again many have already, so not exactly a money making opportunity for me. So looking through the official club history site I found Jimmy Case. Now granted he’s before my time, but we’ll still look at him.

He’s still thought of very highly at Anfield where he was voted in at No.45 in the 2006 poll 100 Players Who Shook The Kop. For someone who played in the 70’s that’s a good thing, because a lot of fans are as young as I am, and don’t know him outside of youtube.

He played on a team with John Toshack, Ray Kennedy, and Kevin Keegan, among others.

  1. Thanks to your incisive and deeply analytical critique, I can now say with all confidence that there’s nothing about the life and career of Jimmy Case that remains hidden to me.
