Red’s World Cup Daily Round Up 14/06/2010

On the fourth day of the World Cup in South Africa there was only one match our lads participated but they had to play against each other: Dirk Kuyt’s Holland played Daniel Agger’s Denmark while Ryan Babel had to watch the game from the match. The Dutch side won 2:0 trough a very strange and unlucky (for Denmark) first goal which has been deflected from our Daniel Agger’s back. Kuyt scored the second goal and made the victory complete.  Een goede prestatie, jong!

Netherlands – Denmark 2:0

Both sides played rather cautious and respected each other very much. The referee can’t be proud of himself for making strange decisions but that’s a different story …

After the match Dirk and Agger swapped their football shirts. :-)

  1. I was there, atmosphere was amazing. So happy I got to see Kuyt and Agger in person, and I got to see Babel during the warm up :) :)

  2. unlucky for me, i left Africa for tour in far east while i didnt get to see any game even on TV. I’ll be back after the WC and not sure if i’ll get a chance to see the finale even on tv.

  3. Michael (South Africa): You can see Holland train at the Wits campus. Will be easy to meet Kuyt and Babel
