The Liverpool FC Board has reviewed a number of proposed bids for the club at a meeting held today.
The Board will continue to act in the best interests of Liverpool Football Club and its supporters, doing all that it can to ensure that the club is ultimately sold to a buyer who has the resources and real commitment to give it a long-term, stable and secure funding position for its plans.
The sale process is continuing. However, its timing and outcome remain uncertain. In the meantime, we will not comment on rumour and speculation.
The fact that a “number” of bids is mentioned instead of a certain number tells me there might be more than just two parties (not just Huang and Kirdi). I might just be looking too far into this, however. At least this is a sign that official bids have been put in and that we are looking at a sale hopefully happening soon. It is interesting, however, to see this statement come in light of what was mentioned on RAWK and covered in Antoine’s previous post about the RBS takeover.
Yes am sure this going in right direction i had heard there was was going to be announcement earlier today then it had been delayed and this statement was realeased. Maybe a late bidder? only time will tell but very positive in my eyes YNWA
