Lets get Behind Them ….

Posted by

This week has been a trembling week for all of us. Speculations regarding Roy and then finally, mounting up again drifting towards a decisive wedge after the match against Blackburn. Nothing materialized and I am sure I am not the only one who has been agonizing against such speculations. As much as I Disagree with Roy tactics and his approach to the game and as much as I want him to leave this position, I want to say one thing.

Lets all face it, that Roy has been given a chance to redeem against Manchester United in OT in the coming FA cup tie. No matter how much we want him to leave, I REQUEST all the reds, traveling to Manchester and the rest, to get behind THE TEAM like we always did. Lets forget about Roy for a match, lets get our lads enter the OT with their heads held high. Lets put our famous ,the good old signature over the wind in OT and let it propel the Stevie Army to a famous win. Remember people, we are THE KOP, we are the Liverpool Football club. We are not only supporters ,we are power that drove reds to a famous victory in Istanbul back in the days, we are the tonic that strengthened Stevie army in the best FA cup finals of all time against West Ham in 2006………we are LIVERPOOL !!!!!!

You Will NEVER WALK ALONE !!!

P.S Please stop making fun of Liverpool players. We have enough MANC’s for that !!

  1. certainly not making “Fun” of the players or situation sunie. but ya can understand the frustration….saying that i agree in whole with what your saying and we need to get behind the team now.

  2. Wow, bravo. I know, forget about Roy and all, but if HE was capable of making such speeches, Liverpool wouldn’t be where they are. Let’s go Liverpool. Let’s bring down Man Utd at home, and show the critics that we’re still the great club that we are, and ever was!

  3. Amen to that.

    Roy’s walking wounded. He’s gone.

He’s not got a chance of saving his job, the relationship with the fans is beyond repair. It’s now a matter of when the replacement or caretaker comes in, not if. Let’s all just calm down – job done, let’s move on and focus on the future.

We chased Hicks and Gilette out of town because it was the right thing to do. Truth be told, we gave Roy a chance and he blew it so we told FSG that sacking him is the right thing to do. We don’t need this to get ugly – we’re Liverpool, that club that used to deal with things in-house without airing our dirty laundry.

Let’s get past it, and focus on attracting the best manager possible to the club for the future. Let’s get behind FSG so they can get the right man. Support the team on the pitch, the owners and let’s get behind the new manager 100%.

  4. AS WE CAN’T WAIT TO MAKE FUN OF OURSELFS INFRONT OUR MAN U R U SERIES !!!

EXAMPLE WE DID WHAT YOU SUGGESTED AND WE LOST 5 TO NONE, WHAT WILL YOU FEEL THEN?

NESV PLEASE BRING IN RIJKAARD NOW
I AM REALLY UPSET WITH THOSE WHOM SUPPORT ROY HE HAS BEEN GIVEN MANY CHANCES TO PROVE HIMSELF WE WAITED WE BEEN PATIENT FOR NOTHING.

  5. Agree with you but I’d rather go there without roy (he should be fired now).He has taken the club too far down .Remember we beat chelsky when they were flying high ,with this squard but now with his long ball from the back & hope Torres /Ngog gets on to it & if they can’t then the excuse is they are not in form, should be over before we go to OT.If Kenny is out of the country, let the reserve grade coach step in for this one game, he can’t do any worse.
Please roy go now , you have the worst away record of any manager, what makes you think you can change that , you couldn’t change it in 35 years .Bought Konchesky in place of Insua, bought poulsen for Aquilani , how much more STUPID can you get.

  6. but supporters always have to be behind their players, in good and bad moments. They were, they are, they will be, because they have to be.
But, nevermind how we play against man utd, nevermind the score, Roy have to go (or be fired it’s the same for me).

We’re all (95%) hoping for that. We are all know that they’re managers, not necessary top class, but managers who love traditions, who can share their passion, who love attractive football, bold and tactical, they’re many mangers who could come.

Don’t forget that, if the team sometimes seems to play, it’s not because of roy plan, it’s because we have quality players. But they need emulation.

  7. The current Liverpool team & majority of players are shit. The sooner you realise that and stop blaming the manager, owners, tea lady, global warming..the better for all your fans.

  8. A nice sentiment, but it shouldn’t have to be said. Sadly, it seems it does have to be said judging by the reaction of some of the fans during the last few months at the games. Thank god we/they didn’t turn of Rafa at half time in Istanbul.

We should always back the players and the manager throughout the game, only showing any displeasure after the final whistle. A goal can be scored in the last second, so they need to be supported till the last second. Any negativity towards the manager or the players will not make them perform any better during the game, and indeed will probably be counter productive and harm rather than help.

  9. We should support the players we know that, but in this case the owners will think that we have changed our minds about hodgson when attendance of match increase THAT’S WHY AM TELLING TO FANS DON’T ATTEND THE MATCH

  10. With all respect to you and your peice, we have to make a stand to accompish, what must happen to save our club. Oh yes a win at the Mancs would be great at this stage of the season, but in all honesty with our performances, I can’t see it happening, unless Roy either pulls of a miracle or leaves. I will always support my team at all times. YNWA.

“The actions of Liddell, Dalglish, Rush and Barnes are enhanced by the support, and the support is enhanced by what those legends did for the club. Nights like St Etienne and Roma live long in the memory because both players and supporters combined through times of adversity and helped each other. It is Shankly’s socialism demonstrated in abundance once more.

Those four have hung up their boots, but the supporters haven’t. Traditions and heritage passed down from generation to generation is replicated on the Kop. And when the likes of Gerrard, Carragher, Torres and Pepe Reina leave, the fans will still be on the Kop, embodying what the club and city is supposed to be about.” http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/the-road-to-understand-lfc

  12. 95% against Hodgson? I wasn’t asked, and certainly didn’t vote on anything. Be careful of taking internet polls as gospel, they are limited to the readership, and generally people only vote when they are unhappy, not when they are happy, again skewing results. Do only Liverpool fans who have an internet connection be taken notice of?

Forgetting about that though, people say Hodgson hasn’t got the tradition of the club in his heart, but would Rykjaard or some random German manager you never heard of till last week?

When they play well, it is the players showing there quality (why can’t they do it all the time), when the play badly (which they have done more than not unfortunately) it is Hodgson’s fault.

I don’t see anything better than Hodgson at the moment and believe he should at least be given a season until he’s judged.

  13. yeah, give Roy a chance to relegated us, hooray stupid you! give him a change to make histories, relegation battle, not for champion league place, not european league place, but struggle to not to be on the last 3 on the table, stupid are those who still support Roy, are really LFC fans? I doubt it, and you dont believe that almost 90% or more want Roy to go? Are you havin a laugh against LFC dan it’s fans? Are you mocking us, cause it seems like you mocking us with that nonsense, Roy have to go, now!
