Doni to join Liverpool in £1m deal – Liverpool are in talks with Roma to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Alexander Doni, according to the player’s agent.
Sevilla tell Liverpool and Spurs winger Diego Perotti not for sale – Sevilla have told Tottenham and Liverpool that Argentine winger Diego Perotti is not for sale.
Liverpool face battle to sign Phil Jones – Liverpool will have to overcome interest from Arsenal and Manchester United and pay in excess of £16 million to sign Blackburn defender Phil Jones.
Arsenal and Liverpool considering bids for Bojan – Liverpool and Arsenal are in touch with Barcelona over signing unwanted forward Bojan.

I understand our desire to win in the immediate future but I like what Kenny an Comolli are planning getting in players who are starters in the premier league and standout players on their teams, that are young and British. Too many fans get caught up in the what If’s, we should snap up these young players now and let them learn under carra gerrard kuyt and mold over the next few years. They will build tram chemistry with lfc an together in the England squad. Also obtaining these players doesn’t mean KK won’t supplement with a choice experienced player or two in the transfer market as well. the likes of a Malouda on a one or two year contrac could be priceless in maintaing our qualiy as we bring these boys through the ranks. Also I think while he’s still affordable we should snap up Wickham as the sky’s the limit for that lad… Cheers boys

I would like Xavi Hernandez, Andrea Iniesta, Lionel Messi, David Villa to start with, then Alexis Sanchez as back up. Add to these Coentrao, to strenghten our left flank!

N’Zogbia would be a quality player to have in the squad Lavetzzi, Gago and Lassana Diarra.
I also believe we already have a good squad with the exception of a quality left back and a left winger.

Despite a bit of dip in form, Doni for 1m isn´t bad at all for a reserve keeper. He was almost first choice keeper for Brazil at one point and was fantastic when he first arrived in Roma and was good for Cruzeiro before that.
Not to beat a dead horse, but as said above why pay 18+ for henderson when we can get mata for a similar price? Malouda would be a quality signing for the right price, and I refuse to give up hope on Hazard. That kid is pure class. We need quality width much more than another central midfield player.
It’s sad to see the state of fellow lfc fans greedy, Impatient, uneducated (football wise) and unrealistic… I’m just happy your not in charge… Support our manager our players and our staff an anyone who is lucky enough to join our family too other than that quit ur fucking moaning

Don’t fancy any of these players your mentioning except possibly jones. Henderson isn’t bad but he’s not worth £18m now. It’s a massive gamble to be honest. Nzogbia is ok but he hasn’t done it for a big team, he’s been good basically in poor teams.
Why are we singing Henderson? We don’t need another central midfielder, we need 2 wingers and 2 defenders. N’Zogbia is a must and so is Scott Dann

second i wanna say that henderson is a great lad and he has great talent.. he might be as good as downing and mata except that he’s younger that’s why he’s worth all that sum.. just give him 2 years maximum and he’ll be one of the national elites (same for wickham and jones), and i’m 100% sure about that!

Henderson is 20 yrd old and has played in the premier league and has done well.
Half the Foreign imports have been duds historically. Veron, Forlan (back then), 27m Dzeko, Bendtner, Hleb etc.,
I’d spend 20 mil to get a sure success.
I know i’m dreaming here but if we are going to splash this much money on English youngsters then I would like to see us move for Englands most promising youngster Jack Wilshere next summer when we can offer Champions League football which Arsenal will lose out on in my opinion after a very long run as Fabregas and Nasri want out and I expect Nasri to leave not to sure on Fabregas. This summer sign Mata,Baines,Jones,Wickham and Henderson. Sell-Maxi,Krygiakos,Jovanovic,Aquilani,Poulsen,Konchesky,Degen,Insua,N’Gog,
Eden Hazard is a must should go all out to get this quality player.
20 mil is a lot of money but can anyone tell me the make up of that deal and not just the reported inclusion of Ngog… If we all think that it is a lot of money don’t you think that KK thinks that too!
On the flip side I can understand the outcry at such a large sim of money the fans want to see a marquee signing but who was it that said “patience is a virtue”

I guess KK, DC and JH have more at stake than any of us when it comes to transfers. What I, being an indian, understand is that Liverpool is an English club and in any sports domestic players are preferred over foreign players. English players will settle in better, communicate better with each other and understand the history well. Players like reina and Lucas are an exception
