England took all three 3 points in their second Group D clash at Euro 2012 with a 3-2 win over Sweden. A sublime Andy Carroll header from Steven Gerrard’s cross opened the scoring before former Aston Villa centre back Olof Mellberg netted twice to give the Swedes at second half lead. Super sub Theo Walcott proved the difference however, scoring one and laying on Danny Wellbeck for a back heeled (Read: miscontrolled) winner. Theo Walcott great contribution BUT I would give MOTM to one of our Liverpool players. Cant decide – Johnson great, Andy – what a goal, Stevie what an assist and terrific all round performance. I think Im leaning towards Stevie but I am biased. He has always been my number 1.
Good goal but does`nt do much else,Young the same really. Is it me, or is there no other player with `drive` like the Captain??i like Parker and the skip in the same team, Carroll took the goal well and seems to be putting more into his game,Johnson another great game oh an Cole looks like a skunk(in fact they all look like skunks with that haircut)but then they`re multi-millionaire footballers!YNWA
