Liverpool’s record £35 million signing Andy Carroll finally broke his West Ham duck, but was unable to prevent his side from being defeated by Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Carroll replied with a towering header late on after Jermain Defoe had struck twice and Gareth Bale scored to earn Spurs a win ahead of the Reds’ visit on Wednesday.
Carroll looks unlikely to have a future under Rodgers at Anfield, but do you think he should be given another chance? Or do you think he’s had enough chances to deliver. Admittedly, 11 goals from 58 appearances is by no means enough to justify his price tag. Please leave your comments below.
He may not justify the price tag, but i feel he is better than most of the new signings under Rodgers.
