Daniele Padelli (2007)
Had a short loan spell at Liverpool, as he provided cover for Pepe Reina. He played in one game, a league match against Charlton, but failed to impress as the Reds were held to a draw. He’s finally been able to start playing regularly since joining Torino in 2013, where his performances have even earned him a call-up to the Italy squad.
Jamie Stephens (2010-2013)
Still only 21, Stephens joined Newport County after leaving Liverpool, before ending up at Barnet this summer. He’s still struggling for regular playing time but age is on his side and there should still be opportunities for him down the road. He’s also had loan spells with Airbus UK Broughton and Gloucester City.
Connor Wearing (2006-2012)
Struggled to command so much as a chance at youth level, let alone with the first-team. He eventually left us for Shrewsbury Town and more recently moved to Airbus UK Broughton – following in the footsteps of his former teammate. He spent the vast majority of last season on loan at Llandudno Town, helping them earn promotion.
