Selecting Liverpool’s all-England XI, as Reds jet off on international break

RM) Jordon Ibe

Still only 19, Ibe recently made his first appearance for the England Under-21 side, playing in a 1-0 victory against USA on Thursday. He’s now played for the Three Lions at four different age groups and is surely due a first-team call up if he continues to progress his game at the rate he has over the last twelve months.

LM) Adam Lallana

Lallana has featured 15 times for England since making his debut in 2013. Unfortunately, his first season with Liverpool was hugely distributed after he picked up an injury in the aftermath of the World Cup – causing him consistent problems over the course of the 2014-15 campaign.

ST) Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge has scored five times in 16 appearances for the Three Lions. If he hadn’t have had so many problems with injuries over the last couple of years then it easily could have been many more. He’ll be hoping to rediscover his scoring form for both club and country in the near future.

ST) Danny Ings

Ings has found the net on four occasions for the England Under-21 side. Having turned 23 this summer, he’s no longer eligible to play for Gareth Southgate’s side and he’ll be hoping that his performances for Liverpool this season will be able to force him into Roy Hodgson’s plans.
