A Jamie Vardy brace downed us in the second half, and Liverpool have now not scored a goal in any of our past three matches – one of which included thirty minutes of Extra Time as well.

“We had the ball in their box. We didn’t shoot… Then one second later Vardy shoots from 35 yards and he scores. So I don’t feel good in this moment,” he said.

“I need a few minutes to cool down,” he added.

Klopp is a world-class manager working with an average squad, and perhaps we cannot really judge him until he at least has some of his better players back. Without Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge in attack we have no pace and severely lack ideas, but decided not to do anything about their absence in the transfer window.

Now, until they return – it’s James Milner and Adam Lallana out wide…

Why are we surprised about our current position…?
