After the shock of England’s 2-1 loss to Iceland in the last-16 of Euro 2016, we can at least still look forward to seeing some Reds in action in the next round.

England’s Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Jordan Henderson, and James Milner were all dumped out, as was Slovakia’s Martin Skrtel.

But with Wales, Belgium, and Germany all making it to the quarter-finals, we can still expect to see Joe Allen, Danny Ward, Simon Mignolet, Christian Benteke, Divock Origi, and Emre Can continue flying the flag for Liverpool in France.

Wales and Belgium will go head-to-head in Lille on Friday, meaning at least two more Reds will be coming home. Germany play Italy in the tie of the round in Bordeaux on Saturday.

With only one of the home nations remaining, let’s just hope all our boys can get through the rest of the competition unscathed and report for pre-season training in the coming weeks.
