Marko Grujic came off second following a clash of heads with Bertrand Traore during Liverpool’s friendly with Chelsea last night.
The Serbian fell to the floor and had to leave the field as a result. The 20-year-old is now in hospital for concussion tests, confirmed James Pearce.

Head injuries must always be taken very seriously, and we now hope Grujic is given all the time he needs to recover properly. We next play AC Milan in three days’ time, but would be surprised if he takes the field.
