(Video) Watch Klopp’s amazing 12 minute chat with Lineker; Brexit, ethos, why England fail, targets, religion & more!

This is one of our favourite interviews we’ve seen in some time.

It’s due to be aired on Football Focus tomorrow, but you can watch the full, 12 minute version, here.

Match of the Day’s presenter Gary Lineker headed to Melwood to speak with Jurgen Klopp, and as per usual, our manager was in scintillating form.

The pair discussed England’s failures, and Klopp interestingly made the point that the country was confused and angry about the Brexit decision, which would have affected the players – while Iceland were unified and had the backing of a nation together. He also said the lack of winter break doesn’t help, but Lineker said that would all change soon.

As well as this, Liverpool’s boss suggested he wants to celebrate something once per season, meaning one trophy every single year – and reiterated his happiness at the club – stating the final 20 minutes versus Borussia Dortmund was the best atmosphere he’s ever experienced at a football ground.

On top of this, the German discussed how he hates the weather, how he deals with players not in the squad, his religion and footballing ethos.

It’s a great, great watch and confirms our love for Klopp!
