(Video) Jurgen Klopp labelled ‘maniac’ on dodgems at Charity Ball

Jurgen Klopp and a number of Liverpool players enjoyed James Milner’s Charity Ball last night, which was put on to mark the five-year anniversary of our left-back’s foundation.

His charity raises money for Bloodwise, the NSPCC and Help For Heroes among others – and shows the Englishman is as humble and grounded off the pitch as he is on it.

Following a reception, there were fairground rides for the guests to enjoy, and the Echo captured Liverpool’s manager on the dodgems!

“[Klopp] was in great spirits,” season ticket holder Andy Parker told the ECHO.

“People were ramming him and going after him. He was a maniac and just full of life. I’ve not met him before but he’s quite a character.

“He was going around hitting people, but I think he was the target for most people to be honest.”

In fairness, we don’t think he was driving too aggressively having seen the clip – not that there’d be anything wrong with this in a bumper car anyway!

The likes of Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana naturally attended their friend’s event, as did Danny Ings, who was on crutches as a result of his season ending injury.
