We have to say, we haven’t been more surprised by a Liverpool starting XI since Brendan Rodgers rested everyone at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.
With Jurgen Klopp’s team in a desperate fight for the top four, he’s rested Roberto Firmino and Coutinho, changed formation and deployed teenage starlets Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
In fairness, without Sadio Mane, the 4-3-3 has looked stale this term, and Klopp’s doing something about it.
If he’s pulled it off with this selection, he should be considered a genius!
@empireofthekop how will klopp start arnord and woodbum and leave grujic and sturridge on the bench..nonsense

I'll take everything I've ever said against Klopp if Liverpool win today with that lineup

Klopp is surely taking the piss with that team

I don't think anyone saw that coming from Klopp. He's obviously trying something different against teams in the middle of the table.

Literally the only bigger sign #Klopp could make that he doesn't want #Sturridge is if he held one up. #LFC

Klopp is crazy. Firminho and coutinho are on the bench ?
