Jurgen Klopp didn’t have much time for questions from reporters in Hong Kong about whether Liverpool can win the Premier League this coming season.
The boss is in Asia with his squad preparing for the Premier League Trophy, a summer friendly competition in which we’re facing Crystal Palace first up tomorrow.
He reminded journalists that at this point, anybody can win the title and that questions of such ilk in July are pretty pointless!
Klopp: “Can we win the title? I think the rules are that all teams are allowed to win the Premier League.”

In a separate interview, Klopp, being questioned alongside Craig Shakespeare, Tony Pulis and Frank de Boer, stated that our first game of the season in 2016/17 – ‘wasn’t that difficult’!
As you’ll remember, we travelled to the Emirates and beat Arsenal 4-3 in an absolute thriller.
Classic Jurgen!
