Despite Nathaniel Clyne seeing multiple specialists from all over the world, there is as of yet no word as to when the England international can or will return.
Jurgen Klopp was discussing Liverpool’s injured stars during today’s press-conference, and while Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana, Coutinho and Dejan Lovren should all be fully available after the international break, the news is not encouraging on the right-back.

“[It’s] not that good. He was on a good way, then a little setback. We are on it, that’s how back problems are,” he explained, reported by This Is Anfield.
“We showed him to specialists all over the world. It’s not a big problem, it just needs time. That’s all.”
Clyne hasn’t featured this term and we don’t expect him to play until some time after Christmas.
In fact, his World Cup hopes for England look in serious jeopardy, considering the rise of Kieran Trippier and the fact Liverpool’s own Joe Gomez has just been called up himself, with Kyle Walker the deserved first choice.
It’s a shame, as there was a point we strongly backed Clyne as one of the best right-backs in the country, but his injury has seen him fall quite dramatically down the pecking order.
Still, Klopp likes the 26-year-old and will welcome him back into the squad when the time is right.
