Sunday’s win saw Oxlade-Chamberlain produce arguably his best performance since signing for the club on transfer deadline day.
Klopp’s rotation gave the former Arsenal man an opportunity to impress in his favoured midfield position- one which he grasped at in admirable fashion.
The Englishman set the tone early on by spearheading the high press alongside Roberto Firmino and proving to be an effective link man at the heart of Liverpool’s counterattacking approach.
With Adam Lallana again pushing for a starting spot following his return from injury, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s standout display came at an ideal time.
Next up is an intriguing return to face his former employers.
