Former Premier League star and Spurs manager, turned TV pundit, Tim Sherwood, reckons Liverpool will secure Alisson in the summer.
Brazil’s no.1 is enjoying a phenomenal campaign in Italy and will likely be the latest big name to depart the Italian capital – with Mo Salah joining Liverpool for an insane bargain fee of £37m in 2017.
We’ve been credited with an interest, with Brazilian outlet UOL suggesting we’re ahead of PSG and Real Madrid in the pecking order and are already in talks with his representatives.
“The boy from Roma, Alisson Becker, looks a real prospect,” Sherwood told Sky Sports.
“There are a lot of noises coming out of Liverpool. He must have a buyout clause.”
The ‘problem’ with a potential Alisson deal is Loris Karius’s excellent form!

Pundit makes bold Joe Gomez statement… but he might be right
Since replacing Simon Mignolet in the side, the German has been nothing short of outstanding.
He’s kept multiple clean-sheets, made important saves and is visibly growing in confidence.
Liverpool have to decide whether spending a world-record fee on Alisson is worth it, especially if Karius keeps on developing at his current rate until the end of the season.
We’d love Karius to prove he’s capable, but if he cannot, would be equally happy for Alisson to come in.
From what we’ve seen of him, he’s already a world-class operator; something we haven’t had between the sticks since Pepe Reina in his pomp.
