According to a reliable report in Goal, Liverpool are eyeing a potential deal for Gent winger Moses Daddy Simon.
The 22-year-old can play on either flank and is available for just £10m as his contract runs out in 2019 and he has no plans to extend.
We’ve never really seen much of the Nigerian in all honesty, so became immediate experts via a YouTube compilation instead!
The one below is the most recent and best, showing some of his goals and assists from this season just gone.
Simon has a low centre of gravity when dribbling, reminding us stylistically of Sadio Mane on the ball. He can use either foot and beat a defender thanks to his pace.
His campaign stats for the Belgian league are poor though, in our eyes. Simon scored six goals and registered seven assists in 29 appearances, which is hardly eye-opening.
Still, if Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool’s scouting team think he could boost the squad, who are we to argue?
