The transfer window closes imminently… On 5pm Thursday, to be precise – when Premier League clubs cannot buy anymore players until January.
It looks to us like Liverpool’s business is over, but Jurgen Klopp has refused to rule out any more incomings, telling fans that, ‘We will see…’.
It’s interesting because the boss is more than happy to bat away transfer rumours if they aren’t true – so maybe there’s some plans we don’t know about.
ESPN journalist Glenn Price tweeted his quotes last night:
Klopp on transfers (incomings and outgoings): "We will see… I have no idea about what will happen in the next two days."

And naturally, they got a few Reds into a frenzy!
So you’re saying… there’s a chance? pic.twitter.com/eQuhbjE5cl

Very unlike Klopp. Normally gives you a clear indication when nothing’s happening. Seems there’s a deal that is dependent on a few variables coming together. Hence why he’s sitting on the fence and non committal.

Sake. Why can’t he just let us be?

For what it’s worth, we’re almost convinced there’ll be no more arrivals, although the current injury crisis with our central defenders is a little worrying.
Ragnar Klavan isn’t a short or long-term option, Joel Matip is injury prone – and both Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren pick up consistent niggles.
We’d also bring in a left winger to back up Sadio Mane, but would be surprised if Klopp decides to.
For now, we wait!
