Mohamed Salah gave one young Red a gift to cherish forever after helping Liverpool to a third consecutive win on Saturday.
The Egyptian’s composed finish was enough to see off Brighton at Anfield and lead his side to the top of the Premier League table.
It comes as something of a disappointment that Salah’s devotion to his fans needs reminding, but unfair and falsified depictions of him as something otherwise mean he has every right to be praised for being the class act he most certainly is.
Salah capped off a great day for one fan by handing him his shirt just before walking down the tunnel at full-time.
That was my lad – absolutely made his day! pic.twitter.com/LfTZPdn5Kk

‘Don’t you have enough time?’ – Mo Salah seeks answers in heated statement
Salah was recently criticised for a supposed rejection of fans seeking autographs from him whilst he was at a standstill in traffic.
It turned out those involved were of some notoriety for hunting signatures from footballers before selling off the merchandise for profit.
Backlash from a selection of non-Liverpool fans was widely-deemed unjustified in light of tales of Salah visiting a local chip shop on Merseyside, signing hundreds of signatures outside his home after his address was leaked on social media and donating thousands of pounds to excellent causes – to name but a few.
After a tough few months off the pitch, Salah deserves to be hailed for the time and love he has for his supporters.
