So Lazar Markovic is staying at Liverpool…
The Serb signed in 2014, but in total, having been contracted to the club for four years in total, he’s made 19 Premier League appearances – which all came in his first campaign.

Jurgen Klopp has no time for the 24-year-old and has made it very clear he won’t be part of the first-team squad, but Markovic has somehow failed to secure a move away from the club.
It looked like he was set to join Anderlecht for a measly sum last night, but incredibly, he failed to agree personal terms with the Belgians, according to Goal.
As a result, he’ll waste another six months of his career before probably securing a loan deal in January.
At the end of this season, he’ll be out of contract and can leave for nothing.
What a monumental waste of money.

“What the fuck?” Lazar Markovic sobbed.
“Listen.” Jurgen shrugged. “Carol’s asked for a day off, and you’re still on a work contract for us. Now keep roasting that chicken.”

Lazar Markovic has played a blinder. He will go on a Bosman and get a signing on fee next summer. Liverpool get nothing.
