Liverpool are one of a number of top European clubs who’ve been offered the chance to sign Corinthians starlet Pedrinho in 2018, UOL Esporte claim.
They however suggest we’ve rejected the 20-year-old, who’s rated at £45m and has also been touted to PSG, Chelsea and Ajax by his agent Kia Joorabchian.
Pedrinho is rated as one of the most talented youngsters in Brazil right now, but for that kind of money, Liverpool need ready made stars who’ve proven they can do it at European level.
The Brazilian is very slight and right now, there’s no room for him in our XI, but we’ll watch his progression from afar with interest.
We currently have three Brazilians in Alisson, Fabinho and the long-serving Roberto Firmino on our books, so it’s not impossible that at some point we’d supplement the group with another.
Personally we’d love to see Lucas Paqueta arrive, but the Brazil international is reportedly off to PSG in January, if FOX Sports are correct.
