Xherdan Shaqiri had a great game tonight against Chelsea and didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
But Jurgen Klopp had a fairly strict on-pitch word with his Swiss playmaker after the game, as you can see in the video below.

According to Neil Jones of Goal, Klopp told the press that he was disappointed with Shaqiri’s decision not to play in Mo Salah in the final minutes!
Klopp says Shaqiri exchange at the end was because he wanted him to play Salah in wide from the free-kick in the last second. #LFC

This seems a little harsh to us, but Klopp demands an extremely high level from all of his players and this proves as much.
Shaqiri will likely return to the bench for our clash with Chelsea on Saturday, but will provide a fantastic option if we need more creativity.
Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Salah will all play up top, with goalscorer Daniel Sturridge also certain to be a sub.
