(Video) Sturridge scores ridiculous 25-yard equaliser after coming on as sub

Daniel Sturridge turned saviour at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as he came off the bench to score a stunning equaliser against Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp turned to the striker as his final change after seeing his men squander numerous chances to draw level in the second half.

The Englishman picked up the ball from 25-yards out, before unleashing a stunning curling effort beyond Kepa and into the far corner.

It was arguably nothing more than Liverpool deserved having pressed hard for a leveller following Eden Hazard’s 25th minute opener.

For Sturridge to make an immediate impact was a refreshing reminder of the strength in depth Klopp has at his disposal this season.

A 50th Premier League goal for the forward also saw his side maintain their unbeaten start to the league season.

Here’s a look back at his superb equaliser…
