We already knew Jurgen Klopp was going nowhere, despite the newfound attentions of Real Madrid, but now it’s been confirmed by very good sources.
Paul Joyce in The Times and Chris Bascombe in The Telegraph have both penned articles telling fans that the German will automatically ‘reject’ any advances from the Spanish giants – who are now out of the Champions League, not challenging for La Liga and out of the Spanish Cup.
In fairness, Klopp would be an enormous hypocrite if he even thought about taking the Real Madrid job, considering what he’s said in the past – but he isn’t, so he won’t!
Regardless of what happens this season, Klopp will be at our helm for some time yet.
He’s transformed us from also-rans to genuine Premier League title challengers, getting to two European Finals so far since taking over at the end of 2015.
The ride has been incredibly exciting, but the end of this season could be the most incredible yet.
We’re in the Last 16 of a Champions League whose draw has opened up, and are just a point behind Manchester City in the title race.
Bring it on!
