Luis Garcia has taken to Twitter to announce how ‘proud’ he was to hear his song being sung on the streets of Madrid ahead of the Champions League final.
With the Reds facing Tottenham this evening, the celebrations ahead of the final are well underway from both sets of supporters, and the popular chant about the little Spaniard was soon being belted out with gusto.
It must be a great feeling to have your name sung by so many people a few years after you left the club. That could happen to one of the players in red this evening if they get their name on the scoresheet – it’s time to make yourself a legend!
How brilliant is this!! Today, I Can't be prouder, the city where I live is red and Supporters sing the "Sangria Song"#OnceaRedAlwaysaRed #YNWA https://t.co/sKfcXaNKKA
