Former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has got some kind of revenge on Real Madrid for defeating the Reds in the 2018 Champions League final.
Okay – it doesn’t really compare, but the lad put in a good shift against Los Blancos for his new outfit.
Club Brugge are a power to be reckoned with in the Belgian league, but you wouldn’t tip them to give Real Madrid too much trouble.
But the Belgians went 2-0 up, before a comeback of sorts, but some safe hands from Mignolet ensured they didn’t complete it, as the game ran out 2-2.
