Jurgen Klopp gave a small update on Xherdan Shaqiri on Friday afternoon, revealing that both he and Joel Matip are still out ahead of the clash with Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.
The Swiss winger has barely featured for the Reds this season and missed the international break through injury too.

Having played a crucial role at times last season, for instance in wins against Manchester United and Barcelona, many Reds supporters are desperate to see Shaqiri back in the side, though, of course, the Reds are doing very well in his absence.

With no timeframe on his return and no update yet on the exact nature of his absence, speculation will continue around Shaqiri being missing.
Hopefully, he will be back sooner rather than later, and in the second half of the season, he can make a big difference.
