Pep Guardiola made a slight fool of himself at Anfield today.
The Spaniard was already fuming after Fabinho’s goal wasn’t overruled early on, and clearly didn’t get over it throughout the 90 minutes – probably made worse by the fact Liverpool purred and were easily the better side.
In the 83rd minute, he went berserk on the touchline – following another penalty claim which was completely, correctly, 100% not given – when Raheem Sterling kicked a ball at Trent Alexander-Arnold’s hand from one-yard away.
Liverpool beat City 3-1 because today, we were by far the better side.
End of discussion.
