Klopp tells Reds why he’s ‘now in a really good mood’

Jurgen Klopp is delighted that Liverpool have three back to back games at Anfield on the horizon.

Tonight, we face Napoli in the Champions League, before hosting Brighton and then Everton in the Premier League.

The team faces heavy travelling in December due to the Club World Cup in Doha, as well as a plethora of other fixtures in three other competitions, so the fact we’ll be on Merseyside for a week will likely help short and long-term.

“This morning I realised when I woke up that the next three games are home games and that pushed my mood massively actually. Not that I was in a bad mood, but now I’m really in a good mood, so that’s really cool,” he told the official website.

A win over Napoli, who are very much a club in crisis right now, will confirm our position as Champions League Group winners – which importantly means we’ll be able to send the kids to Austria in a fortnight to face Rb Salzburg.

We’ll have to face Brighton at the weekend without the suspended Fabinho, but with Jordan Henderson likely filling in at no.6, we should still have more than enough in midfield to get the job done.

Fab will return for the game against Everton, although it’s uncertain who their manager will be with Marco Silva seemingly teetering on the brink.

Really, three out of three wins should be the target before we head south to Bournemouth in the Premier League.
